The full season license, which costs NZ$ 105 (approx. € 50), enables the angler to fish in over 1'000 beautiful rivers, streams and lakes in the South Island. Prime dry fly fishing usually occurs from mid-November to mid-March, although opportunities for dry fly fishing exist all season.
